The real scouting happens before game day.

The 2027 American Bowl takes place Friday, January 22, in Miami. Throughout the week, college football prospects compete in practices and evaluations designed to showcase their abilities to professional scouts.

For aspiring scouts, agents, and player personnel professionals, practices offer a valuable opportunity to:

Observe NFL prospects competing in position drills and team periods
Study player technique, athleticism, and football instincts
Understand what scouts look for when evaluating future NFL talent
Experience the scouting environment beyond the game itself

American Bowl practices are where football professionals evaluate talent. Fans go to the game. Scouts go to the practices.

Practice schedules, locations, and access information will be announced as they become available.
