Sheryar Abdullah discovered Sports Management Worldwide (SMWW) over a decade ago—a pivotal moment that propelled his career in sports to new heights. After completing courses in Sports Broadcasting and Hockey GM & Scouting and attending multiple Hockey Career Conferences during the NHL Draft, he built a strong foundation for his journey through the hockey world.

With more than 10 years of hockey experience, Sheryar has worked in a variety of roles, including scouting, video coaching, bench coaching, player development, and front office management, spanning levels from U13 to Junior.

A standout moment in his career came when he was invited by NHL pro scouts to participate in the evaluation and learning process at the prestigious Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Red Deer, Alberta.

In recent years, Sheryar joined a respected scouting firm, providing WHL-level coverage while also pursuing independent scouting projects at the AHL level. In these roles, he collaborated closely with NHL pro scouts, sharing evaluations and valuable insights.

Beyond coaching and management, Sheryar serves as a Hockey Advisor for players and their families through 3 Star Sport Management, working under the mentorship of founder Michael Collier, who also serves as SMWW’s Hockey Agency Director.

This season, Sheryar embarks on a new chapter as Assistant GM and Coach with a junior program in Central Canada. He looks forward to sharing more details soon and continuing to grow both personally and professionally in the game he loves.
